Education

The Castellani Art Museum's education program serves diverse constituencies in the Niagara region through programs, activities, archival resources, and curriculum projects that connect artists, students, educators, and schools. The museum develops projects, programs, and resources to serve professional educators and encourages them to participate in developing appropriate methods and resources for their students.

We design our educational programs with these principles in mind:

• Art can be used to teach many subjects
• Art utilizes alternative learning styles, thus offering avenues for academic success to all young people
• Art provides access to other cultures, promoting cross-cultural awareness and a global perspective necessary in a multi-ethnic  society.
