Speaker: Dr. Bonnie Gordon Flickinger, Rainbow Lectures

Dr. Flickinger was a member of the special delegation invited to the Sistine Chapel for a service led by the Archbishop of Canterbury and Pope Paul VI, the first service in the Vatican jointly celebrated by Roman Catholic and Protestant leaders. She also attended a special preview of The Vatican Collection, The Papacy and Art with the American Academy in Rome. This slide lecture will provide a one-of-a kind opportunity to view some of this beautiful collection.

These educational art history programs run from 10 a.m. – 12 noon featuring films, guest speakers and facilitated discussions. Light refreshments are served. Admission is free, but Castellani Art Museum membership is required to attend.
