The Castellani Art Museum offers a variety of exciting school and group tours highlighting works from our permanent collection, Freedom Crossing: the Underground Railroad of Greater Niagara, and a number of special exhibitions. Tour groups are limited to 60 people. Suggested donation is $2 per person. Teachers/chaperones are free. Please make arrangements at least three weeks prior to desired date.
The museum is offering a free docent-led tour to the public once a month. The 30-40 minute tour will include an overview of the museum’s current exhibitions plus Freedom Crossing: The Underground Railroad in Greater Niagara. The CAM has always had free admission, these public tours provide an opportunity for visitors to get to know the museum in greater depth and see the latest exhibitions on display. Reservations are not necessary. Meet at the museum’s reception desk where your docent will begin the tour promptly at 2:00 p.m.
The next public tours are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on the following Sundays:
March 10, 2013
April 14, 2013
May 12, 2013

A docent talks with students about “Understanding Works of Art,” one of the many tours offered at the CAM.

School tours often include hands-on art experiences.
